James: Faith In Action

FAITH IN ACTION • Book of James

This season is all about faith. When we decide to put our faith and trust in Jesus, what does it look like? How does our faith grow? How does it change what we do and say? This season, players will hear from James, the brother of Jesus. James explains that our faith is shown in how we respond to life’s challenges, how we treat others, and how we pray. He wants us to live out our faith. Our prayer is that players will grow in their relationship with God as they learn to put their faith in action.

LETTER FROM A COACH

Dear Team Sports Devotions,

I coach middle school basketball and cannot begin to thank you enough for these devotions. They are very well done. You have the right mix of current basketball players and history that draws the boys into the discussion from the beginning, and then you make it very relatable to the scriptures. READ MORE
