Follow Me: Love God By Loving Others
5 day sports camp curriculum
This series is one of a three part series for your summer sports camps. It can be used as a stand alone or together with
Follow Me: Serving God by Serving Others and Follow Me: Honor God by Honoring Others.
It has been designed to work for ANY TEAM SPORT. Every devotion is sports-related without being sports-specific.
FOLLOW ME • LOVE GOD BY LOVING OTHERS
Working together with one heart and purpose encompasses the idea of teamwork. To be the best team player you can be, you must have the right attitude towards teamwork. In the Follow Me series, players will learn how to develop a mindset that is loving, serving, and honoring of their Heavenly Father through interactions with their coach and fellow teammates. Jesus will be our guide and example. We recognize him as our coach, friend, and Savior. Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 This week, as we follow Jesus, we will learn how to love God by loving others.

I coach middle school basketball and cannot begin to thank you enough for these devotions. They are very well done. You have the right mix of current basketball players and history that draws the boys into the discussion from the beginning, and then you make it very relatable to the scriptures. READ MORE
